Journeys in Wonders of Nature on Vacation.

Journeys in Wonders of Nature on Vacation.

Hubby, who is a Physician Surgeon, is on vacation for the next couple of weeks. He was telling me that he would retire in the next few months or so, after over 45 years of medical practice. He also teaches surgical procedures in the Public Hospital, which is part of the Medical School. I met him overseas, due to a surgery. So, I was his patient after all, and then, he never let me go afterwards.
He remembers how many times he used to travel to many places throughout SA., giving lectures to Medical Doctors and Scientists in International Conferences in the Medical Science. He whispered a message to my ears, "I've found the secret of youth, and I'll only tell the recipe to my friends, if they wish to contact me about that, I'll be available when the time comes."
Then, I'll begin to write my stories. I have always been fascinated with doctors' tales, for instance, their experiments, their patients, their achievements, what doctors do, undo, hide or reveal discoveries in the medical field, and so forth.
Many years ago, when hubby was a young doctor, he traveled and found  beautiful places that looked like haven on earth. They are called Gaiman and Trevelin, the New Wales. It is certainly worthwhile to visit those places. We shall begin to travel worldwide after his retirement, but not until then. I just can't wait to feel that sort of experience in my life.
Well, the story of that gorgeous place began one day long ago...
Gaiman, the New Wales, in the Chubut Province, SA., was a small town founded in 1865 by a group of Welsh people who sailed the Atlantic Ocean by ship. They were looking for peace in a free land, in order to settle down, establish and preserve their Welsh traditions, culture, and their language to generations to come. They had a beautiful dream in their hearts!!...
Their traditional "House of Welsh Tea," the afternoon tea which is served with their famous "Black Welsh Cake," are visited by tourists every year.
In 1995, the Princess of Wales, Lady Di, visited the House of Tea called "Caerdydd Tea", and a choir of children sang songs in Welsh language while she had a cup of afternoon tea with a delicious blueberry cake. The owners had their memorable pictures taken with Princess Lady Di, and kept them forever on the House of Welsh Tea walls.
Have a blessed day, dear readers!!
Enjoy your holidays!!

Hello Starry, What a beautiful story, I loved reading it and being taken to the new Wales. I used to live in New South Wales, Australia..and my ancestor's were Welsh and French.
That cake looks scrumptious. Time flies as you know and soon Paul will retire and you'll be off on all those exciting adventures. No matter where you go, there is no place like home. I have gotten to the stage where I want to stay put, not rush through airports..
You wrote and portrayed this very well... So enjoyable, keep your imagination alive, because very soon, you will live your dreams. xxxxxxx.
