The Shoals Islands Lighthouse.

The Shoals Islands Lighthouse.

Thank you for visiting my sites, dear Online friends!!

I have a personal fascination for lighthouses. They are so beautiful.

Yes!! It is a true story that happened in the 19th Century in New England, USA.

The little child of a lighthouse keeper lived in the Shoals Islands most of her life. She became a well-known author later on. Poet Celia Thaxter wrote the true story under her own point of views. Later on, a movie was made. It is called "The Weight of Water" with Sean Penn. I recently watched the movie on TV at home. This spooky dreadful thriller indeed, gave me goosebumps. If you come across this book or movie, please let me know about your personal reviews about who you think the killer was. There were only three pretty young ladies from Norway on that stormy night in an uninhabited island. Two ladies were murdered, and only one survived. That was a real mystery. I wonder who was the real doer of the action. The story is like a puzzle which still interests the American audience nowadays. A movie was recently made with that kind of story. Well, I am looking forward to hearing from you again.

Thank you in advance for your kind visits to my sites!!

God may bless you all in every step of the way!!

Until we write again.

A LIGHTHOUSE.

A LIGHTHOUSE.

A lighthouse is a tower, building, or other type of structure designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire, and used as an aid to navigation for pilots at sea or on inland waterways. Lighthouses are used to mark dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals and reefs, and safe entries to harbors, and can also assist in aerial navigation. Once widely used, the number of operational lighthouses has declined due to the expense of maintenance and replacement by modern navigational aids.

The sea and lighthouses have always caught my attention. They hold fascinating mysteries which engulf tales inside their fading walls facing the majestic sea. Precious ancient gemstones, old lighthouses are slowly fading away in time. Poet Celia Thaxter lived as a child in the 19th Century in White Island with her father who was a lighthouse keeper. She lived in the Isle of Shoals, 10 miles off the New Hampshire coast in New England, USA. This brick-and-stone lighthouse on White Island was badly battered in storms during the 20th Century. The old lighthouse there held several mystery stories that the poet told in her journals ("Anatomy of an Ax Murder") and her Poetry (1873).

Today, the mystery still unrevealed. Writer A. Shreve's recent best-selling novel, "The Weight of Water" based on a true story of the murders of two young girls from Norway, shows the grip of the Smuttynose Story that still hold America tightly even 125 years later...

Dear Readers,

Have you read the Novel?? Have you watched the Movie??

Well, I got my personal oppinion about this story. I think the girl from Norway who was the only survivor was the responsible for the murders of her sister and sister-in-law. She had a reason to kill. She blamed the stranger for her actions, I think. Everybody believed her story. Justice was not done well at that time. A better investigation should have solved the puzzle. There were only 3 ladies at that time at night in an uninhabited island. Two of them died. Only one survived. No one else was there to testify. Guess what??...

"IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES."

"IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES."

Catching every breath I deeply take

And moving slowly into the rainbow,

I lie beneath the sunset

Watching the foam of sea waves rolling down.

If tomorrow never comes,

I'll hold no regrets behind;

I have found no lasting moments

To rest happily on my mind.

New worlds envisage a new freedom

Venturing into gardens with open doors.

I step in the midst of hush

when the lions roar and the eagles soar.

I spread the wings of my soul

Writing a heartfelt creation.

My soul soars like an eagle

Bringing joy with my inspiration.

Today, April 5th, is being one month of the loss of my best friend, my dear cat Mimmo.

I am still grieving his beautiful being. Time won't heal this wound.

It'll always remain a deep scar...

No other cat will replace his unconditional love for me. The cruel South American Vet took his life performing a very bad surgery. He removed his poor colon intestine. Mimmo's intestine died inside him after a few days of his original surgery. The Vet did not perform a good job. He called me and said that Mimmo was gone. I began to cry an Ocean. I can't forgive these kind of mistakes. Mimmo was very sick. He had a chronic constipation. I feel guilty when I remember that I placed my dear Mimmo into his transportation cart, and said good-bye to him on that evening...My companion carried Mimmo to the Vet's shop, like he had always had with my other cats who passed away. I lost many cats in the recent years. I used to have 10 at home at one point in 2002. I am disabled in some ways, you know. So, I have hard times in moving around the city. Anyway, I went to see Mimmo straight away after his passing. It was a dreadful scene in front of my eyes. The Vet opened up my poor Mimmo like a bleeding deer. I am sorry, my dear readers, for being unable to give you good news. I might soon begin to write suspense, thrillers stories and tales in prose in the near future. Only time will tell what I ought to or about to reveal...

ONLINE READERS WORLDWIDE.

DEAR ONLINE READERS WORLDWIDE,

I want to show my honest hospitality to my dear readers in today message, the free expression of my soul, for I don't want to feel lonely or forlorn again. I am really thrilled to admit my joy in finding the sweet loyalty of my readers, which is a worthwhile reward to me. The power of kind loving words mean the world to me.

I find abundant fulfillment and satisfaction in what I love to do the most: writing, and expressing myself in all the ways that I can possibly do. I truly enjoy reaching out to the world and touching people's hearts worldwide. I am only an average person, a Christian grandmother. My humble writings are simple expressions from my heart of hearts. I confess that I am still grieving the loss of my best friend, my dear cat Mimmo. Nobody else could replace his lubricating love for me. Tomorrow, April 5th will be one month since his final departure. I still miss him so dearly, and I always will!! I am sure many folks may understand me so well, the ones who are animal lovers and advocates like me. I also confess that personal problems and health issues in my life affect, influence or jeopardize my work in some way or another. I am personally involved in many different tasks, so that I am not always reading or writing on daily basis. Anyway, I shall post My Monthly Newsletters for you all to read, if you wish to visit Starry's little corner in Cyberland. I wish I could write more often than I do. Anyway, thank you so much in advance for visiting my journals, inspirational thoughts, tales and poetry sites. I tell you a secret, it deeply hurts if I feel unloved.

God may bless you all!!

Until we write again.

I DIED FOR LOVE.

I DIED FOR LOVE.

My heart gently indulges and shudders when I talk about love...

I may briefly say that love is a powerful energy that ignites and energizes the soul, the flowing river that makes the world go round. Love is a sublime fuel dwelling into the cathedral of our spirit, carving and sculpturing the golden walls in the kingdom of our souls. Love is the sculpture of our hearts, a glass wall from which one may peep, glance at, or see through. Love is a solid and essential nutrient, like bread and water, from which I nourish its precious elements for my living soul. Love could hurt so badly at times. Some might have even died for love.

I really know, I once died for love.

Thank you in advance for reading my posts, and for being such loyal friends!!

God may bless you all!!

In God's Garden,
