New York Certified Nurse's Assistant. I truly care!!

New York Certified Nurse's Assistant. I truly care!!
It's truly amazing the way our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has been working on me in order to mold me the way He really wanted me to become. I am a very different person compared to what I used to be many years ago. Now, I have such a compassionate heart for the ones in need. I love to reach out for those who need help, those who are old and weak, those who are disabled, those who may be hurting in some way or another, or suffering from some kind of physical or mental illness.
I serve the Lord in this way, or in any way He wants me to serve Him, as a humble messenger for the Lord. I am a soldier for Christ, a wildlife and prayer warrior for Christ and for His world, His Almighty Creation. We, humans, must take good care of each other, and also care for our natural environment, mother nature, the natural wonders, and our dear animals of the world. If we don't respect them, they will become extinct forever, vanish into thin air, and we will be alone in a barren world of nothing. We'll eventually become extinct as well, if everything else is extinct. We all need each other. Let's put it in a nutshell, we must support each other in a Brotherhood of Christians in order to survive. You know, the devil's tricks come to steal our joy, our dreams and our lives. We must pray to the Lord on daily basis, and obey His Holy words in the Scriptures. We should follow high goals with lasting moral values, in order to enrich our spiritual wealth. It is not hard to do. We could begin with little things in our daily lives, one step at the time. We may help others in any way we can; I mean the ones who may need help, the hurting, the lonely, the homeless, the sick, the loveless, the unwanted, or the forgotten. Maybe, it could be just in a small way with a generous caring gesture, a letter of encouragement, a heartfelt message, a caring word or a phone call, a personal visit, a helping hand, a listening ear, a loving word out where it is needed, a kind support somewhere. You may just do little things each day which may add up in the end to meaningful lasting values in our lifetime. I have posted some old family pictures up in this post that were taken some years back. The first pic was taken during the Holidays at my aunts' home when they were still doing fine. My aunts were the sisters of my dear father. We had lovely times at our family gatherings. My younger auntie used to be a Concertist Piano player and an Opera Soprano singer. Auntie was very talented. I used to sing along while auntie played the piano. She used to play at Church, Weddings and other kind of events. As you may see in the pics, the aging process could be certainly devastating for people. I had to take good care of my dear aunts when they reached to a certain point of weakness and turned 95 and 96.
My hubby took some pics of us a few years back...
My oldest auntie needed a surgery in her lower abdomen and went to Hospital. My daughter flied from New York to visit their great aunts. I included a pic of them taken at Hospital. Then after surgery, auntie needed more personal care for her rehabilitation, so she had to go to a Nursing Home. My younger aunt got too weak and joined her sister there too. I always visited them on regular basis...
I recall to have seen a 100 year-old blind lady sitting alone in the Nursing Home, and a care giver would feed her at meal times while the other immates were at table.
She was blind, she could not see, so she would call for help with anxiety...
My aunts used to tell me that they were lucky to be able to see the world.
I showed my aunts good love from my heart of hearts. I'll always remember them for the love they have given to me and to my daughter at all times. I'll never forget them!! I miss them so dearly!! You know, they are all in Heaven with the Lord. And now, I am alone without them...They are all waiting for me there in Heaven. That is OK., I am ready to go at anytime. I have already packed my suitcase filled with good deeds in this world. My aunts got reunited with my dear parents who were already there. All my family is gone, and I have no siblings, so I have nothing, but God.
I have a wonderful Christian Online friend whose mother is blind and needs her personal care. I am praying for her mother and for my friend as well. In fact, I've decided to post these personal old family pictures to encourage her that she is not alone on the road. I have already been there as well with all my dear family members. It is very sad to see our beloved ones part. Anyway, when our Lord calls us, we must be ready at His call at anytime. Our feeble bodies are temporary, but our soul will be Immortal and Eternal in Heaven with God. Christians in action is the key.
This post has been dedicated for you, my sweet dear friend. I know you are hurting, sweetheart. I hope and pray that you visit me and read these kind words for you.
The Lord will comfort you, embrace you into His loving arms, and give you strength to carry on the inner pain in your soul. He will do the same with your dear mother.
I am praying for all of you!!
God may bless you all, and protect you always!!
In God's Garden,
Starry.

Hello Dearest Starry, What lovely unselfish photo's, your patients are very blessed to have a genuine carer.. The end stges of life must be very difficilt when you lay in a bed like a baby and are dependant on others. So many nurses don't give these elderly people the love and respect they deserve. It takes a rare and special person to do that, and your it!!!
Well done. I could never work fulltime in aged care although I did help out on occassion. I saw many patients ill treated and it is not good at all. Thank God for nurses like you. Ones who put their all into giving from an unselfish heart. God Bless you heaps. xxx

Hi Dearest Crystal,
Yes!! This post was dedicated to you and to your dear mother who has recently been taken to a Nursing Home.In fact, I am not an R.N., I am only a C.N.A. I did not work in a Nursing Home for a long time. I took up the course to help my hubby, who is a Medical Surgeon, to care for his private patients after surgeries. I helped out my dear aunts with home care at first. Then, they became too ill and weak, and they had to go to a Nursing Home for their complete care 24 hours on daily basis. I visited them regularly. My eldest aunt had a surgery, and I visited her at Hospital. Some of the pics were taken while she was recovering at Hospital. The young girl in one of the photos is my daughter who flied from New York, just to visit her dear great-auntie in Hospital after her surgery. All these pictures were taken a while back. My dear aunts passed away in 2008, my dear eldest auntie passed on at the age of 96 and my younger one at 95. I still love them and miss them so dearly!! They are the sisters of my dad.
They are all in Heaven with the Lord. My dear mom is also in Heaven. All my family are gone to Eternity. I miss them all!! Now, I only have got my daughter and my 3 grandchildren who live in New York. My hubby will soon retire. Then, we'll get reunited with my family over there.
Thank you so much, sweet dear Crystal, for reading my post and writing such kind words to me!! You are a super friend.
God may bless you, Crystal, and all your beloved ones!! All the Best.
Until we write again.
In God's Garden,
Starry.
