My Dear Grandma. She won't be forgotten...

My Dear Grandma. She won't be forgotten...

I look around folks in my world today, and I sadly realize that not too many people remember their loving grandmothers, at least, not the way I do. Today's post is dedicated to my dear grandmother who dwells in Heaven with the Lord. She passed away when I was 9 years old. I still remember her with so much love; she won't ever be forgotten...

My grandma lived with us, I meant, with my mom, dad and me. She was the mother of my mother. My granny was born in a small town in Genova, Northern Italy by the Mediterranean Sea around 1880. She used to tell me so many tales by the fireplace about the Ocean and her experience with it. When my grandparents got married in the early 1900's, they went to the sea shore on their Honeymoon, just to watch how the day would go by from dawn into dusk, and to gaze at how the Ocean would dream beneath the sun. Both of my grandparents were Artist of Fine Arts and Music. I wonder how I got these artistic genes of mine coming from...

A wonderful piece of Heaven- I touched -when I approached the beach. I used to get hypnotized by the Ocean majestic view. I have never experienced a better feeling inside my soul, better than being in contact with mother nature, better than being in contact with the sea. The horizon line blends so perfectly well with the deep blue sea that melts my emotions into a honeydew chew, just like coming out alive from an oil painting painted by my dear grandfather.

The painting talks as if one may feel that is right there with it walking barefoot on the white sand, or seating by the beach at daybreak. The passion for the beach and the sea, sunrises and sunsets have always stirred up and fueled my inner emotions.

The smell of seawaves crashing on the shore, the foam on top of the rolling waves, seaweeds left on the beach, the scent of purity in the air, and I -inhaling the essence of life, I could say now that it is one of those superb wonders that we are unable to describe with words, superb wonders that may engulf our souls in a way that one may touch Heaven with our imaginations.

It's funny the way life goes...My granny used to collect seashells with my grandpa at the shore.

And I also used to collect seashells from the sand that would be still wet by the sea water, and then brought them home as our everlasting memories. I used to share this experience with my best friend, who was a US Air Force Veteran and loved the beach life.

Thank you in advance for reading!!

God may bless you all!!

Until we write again.

P.S: Dear Readers, I let you know that my desktop computer broke down. I could only borrow a small laptop to read and post for a short while. I have hard times to read small prints, due to my poor eye vision. Plus, this PC that I am using at this point does not allow me to post a picture of my granny that I've wanted to share with you this day. This PC also plays tricks on me. I don't know why, but I am upset about that...

I also deal with some chronical health issues. On top of all, some of my dear cats are ill at this point. I must take good care of them, and I don't have time to work on my writing issues. I am sorry about that. I don't think that I'll be coming back to My Blogs for a while. In the meantime, if you wish to visit an inspirational Online Christian American Community which has got Video-Poems with Music, I'll give you the Link to Click in the dark space below this line. It is called: "Open my eyes Lord."

Thank you in advance for understanding!!

God may bless you all, dear readers!!

Until we write or meet again.

Starry.
